A portrait of William Seward, United States Secretary of State under Abraham Lincoln. I was watching a show on Lincoln and they spoke of Seward. I thought he had unique and interesting features so I decided to do a piece on him. I wanted to give it the old portrait photograph look from his era.

This was sculpted from a generic head base mesh in Mudbox. I textured with Photoshop and rendered with Mental Ray in Maya. Post processing done wtih Photoshop.
